Vortex-Fork Resonance Rifle

rare rifle — charge fire

Damage: 2d10 kinetic

Range: long

Ammo Capacity: 24

Energy Cost: 15

Activated: Spend 1 action to charge the fork array. The barrel splits upward, generating a curved blue energy field (Arc Field). While active, all shots deal an additional 1d8 ion damage.
On Hit: While Arc Field is active, bullets passing through the energy ring gain arc resonance. On a hit, the target must succeed a DC 14 Constitution save or be disrupted, losing 1 reaction until the start of their next turn.
On Critical Hit: On a critical hit while Arc Field is active, the energy ring pulses outward. All enemies within 10 ft of the target take 2d6 ion damage.
Passive: Arc Field collapses after 3 rounds or if the wielder moves more than 15 ft. Reactivating costs 1 action and 15 energy.

The Vortex-Fork Resonance Rifle fires standard kinetic rounds (2d10 kinetic). As an action, the wielder can activate the Fork Array, splitting the barrel upward and projecting a curved Arc Field (blue energy ring). While the Arc Field is active, all attacks deal +1d8 ion damage. Hits force a DC 14 Con save or remove the target's reaction. Critical hits pulse the field, dealing 2d6 ion damage to all creatures within 10 ft of the target. The Arc Field lasts 3 rounds or until the wielder moves more than 15 ft, then collapses. Magazine holds 24 rounds. Reloading costs 1 bonus action.

A rifle that fires bullets that then the rifle forks, creating a blue energy field that's a bit of a circle, and what I mean by it forks is the barrel splits upwards, creating a curved circle with a slight curve to it, and then firing bullets can do extra damage.
