Deployment: Requires 2 crew (gunner + systems operator), a class-IV power core, and 2 full rounds to initialize ion ring calibration. Compatible with tank turret rings, airframe hardpoints, or fortified ground bases.

On Hit: Ion Ring Amplification: Each plasma round passes through the ion ring, gaining +2d6 bonus energy damage and ignoring up to 5 points of energy resistance.
Passive: Suppression Field: Any enemy that enters or starts its turn in the turret's fire arc must succeed on a DC 16 Morale check or use its action to take cover (area denial effect).
Activated: Shuriken Volley: Once per turn, launch up to 2 plasma or ion shurikens at targets within 60 ft. Plasma shurikens deal 3d8 plasma damage; ion shurikens deal 2d8 ion damage and impose disadvantage on the target's next energy resistance roll.
